Taking on Synthetic powerhouse club, STC on their home surface was always going to be an interesting task. But with Pete Marshall, Matt Cox and Chris Richards setting up a strong score - 6/176, the AWCC crowd looked confident of another win as dusk settled.

With Swift, Murphy, Burner and Hill all chipping in with tight overs and multiple wickets the target proved too much, thanks largely to a great effort in the field and again a spirited performance both on and off the field!

AWCC will now take on Deepdene Bears on Sunday 14th February at Donvale Reserve (where we won the premiership in 07/08) so make sure you get along for the ECA's Super Semi Sunday, where both T20 Semis will be played! (more info can be found at ....http://www.easterncricket.com/news.asp?ID=786
